Smoking food is an ancient practice which has progressed and has finessed in the Modern times. With the advancement in technology and newer cooking techniques in different types of Smokers people have started practicing safely smoking food and meats within their households. Preparing food with either an Electric smoker or a Propane one will provide great texture and taste to the meal being prepared. With the new technological advancements, newer smokers like Propane or an electric smoker are available in the market, while an electric smoker uses electricity to smoke and cook food, a propane one runs on propane. The key to successfully smoking meats and meals is adequately maintaining the temperature.

Electric smokers are a marvel of the new technological advancements with the ease in their usage they are comparatively better than other smokers available in the market. Electric smokers are spacious and are good for cooking and smoking meats for a large group of people, also the racks within the smoker are chrome coated and are easily removable which mess up the cleaning process. Also, electric smokers are so user-friendly that they can easily be used by a beginner and are so easily functional with the digital console that helps one to set the temperature, also the digital console helps in setting and managing timers which allows the food to be smoked for the desired amount of time. Modern electric smokers are so compact and lightweight; they are so compact that they save a lot of space within the household.

Electric smokers are without a doubt the safest smokers available in the market as they are fitted with a temperature monitoring element that is placed within the body of the smoker, this temperature monitoring unit has got safety modules and stops the smoker from overheating or go to dangerous temperatures by automatically shutting itself off. Electric smokers reviews like almost everything has got their cond also, an electric smoker should not be used in rainy conditions as mixing water with electricity is highly dangerous and also if exposed to rain or water the electric smoker will be useless as the electronics within the smoker will malfunction rendering it useless. Also, the cost of running an electric smoker is higher as compared to a propane one but it is useful in places with a fire ban.

Propane smokers, on the other hand, are built in a way that ensures that the heat is trapped within the smoker and do not escape,  the gas burner is positioned below the iron box or the body of the smoker which generates the heat, the chamber contains charcoal or wood chips which are responsible for providing the smoky flavor to the food. Propane smokers are easy to use and after one or two uses the user becomes fluent in using them, these propane smokers are lightweight thus are portable and can be used on outdoor spaces as well.

Like an electric smoker Propane smokers do not require to be preheated thus they are time-saving, also it has got a temperature regulation mechanism so as to maintain the temperature. Propane smokers are capable of attaining higher temperatures and thus can be used as ovens, these smokers are not dependent on electricity for their functioning and thus a power outage cannot ruin a family gathering. Propane smokers are usually not well insulated thus their efficiency varies in rainy weather. Also, Propane smoker is pocket efficient and saves up money while cooking and smoking meals. Propane smokers are small in size and are thus incapable of smoking and cooking meals for a large group of people at a time.…

Let’s make your home a little more secure by following nine simple steps

Set rules

Indoor security must turn into a nice habit between all the members of the family and it must include kids as well, there must be a routine and the rules must be followed for instance

  • You must always lock your window and door, this won’t take much of your energy and if you keep a note of it, it would become a habit
  • Tell the kids that they should never open the door for a stranger
  • Garage door must be locked all the time
  • There must be an alarm system in the house

Home inspections

  • some departments offer inspections where a police officer comes to your home and lets you know what all you require for making your home the safest place and they even keep budgets in mind while telling you about what all you require.

Organized burglary

  • organize one on your own with the help of people you trust give then three minutes to take the things that are expensive, do this with people you trust and not just anyone and after this you would get to know that where the real thieves can find the things in your house and how easy it is to steal from you then you can purchase a nice safe and keep all the valuables in it

The hidden key

  • Most of the people have a habit of keeping an extra pair of keys to their home and it’s a good thing but hiding it under the flower pot isn’t, you can give it to your neighbors if you trust them.

Door-remotes and keys

  • Think and then keep them in a spot which is the safest and where no one other than you or the other family members would be able to find it, be smart and hide your keys and door-remotes.

“Beware of dog”

  • does not matter if you have a dog or not, find a spot which is the most visible and there put such a sign, it actually helps a lot and you can’t just have this sign but many more and you can make these on your own or ask any of your friends for some signs if she or he has a security system

The ladder

  • The ladder must not be left out it must always be in the garage and the garage door must be locked and the door-remove must be hidden

The air conditioner

  • The crooks love the window air conditioners as they can easily get inside your house from the window, so do not leave them unsecured.

Check the locks

  • By checking the locks I’m not referring to checking if they are locked all the time I’m here referring to their strength check if they are strong enough and if they are weak just change them as soon as possible, the locks must be strong if they are not burglars can easily access your house, they can easily break in.

Sometimes our dressers, drawers get a lot of scratches and then they do not look up to the mark and just because of some scratches we can’t actually through the entire thing as of course, it was expensive when you purchased it so let’s paint them

  • The surface needs to be cleaned

If the surface just has dust then all you need is a dampened cloth and if there is any staining or grease on the surface then you might need to use vinegar or TSP solution and if you are planning to use any chemical cleaner, if yes then make sure that is properly wiped off

  • For the second step, you would need sandpaper

Sand because laminate is a non-porous and slick surface so it’s actually nice to scuff your drawer or dresser’s surface scuffing means your paint would last for long, but make sure that you do not overdo it if you overdo it then your dresser’s laminate would be torn off

  • B.I.N, KILZ, Zinsser – the prime

When buying the primer make sure that the label says that it for the surface which is shiny, one coat of any primer is said to be more than enough but if you do not feel satisfied you can go for one more coat of the primer, if the primer is not right then it would simply show on your dresser, the texture would be bubbly, B.I.N, KILZ and Zinsser are one of the best primers

  • Paint

After applying the layer of a primer you can begin painting apply at least three layers of paint and between every coat sand in as it would help you give your dresser the professional finish.

  • Seal it

After painting, you are required to protect that paint and all your efforts and for that, you are required to seal it with topcoat.

How to paint a wall

  1. You are required to prepare your wall first, by preparing here I mean that you need to remove the accessories that are on your wall, take all the outlet covers, switches, thermostats and knobs off from the wall, this would help you in painting your wall easily and if there is some accessory that you can’t remove then cover that particular accessory using painter’s tape.
  2. Cover the furniture, or if you can take them out of the room it would be more than enough but you can’t move the furniture then just use some old cloth to cover them, paint stains can’t be very difficult to remove so take all the major precautions beforehand
  3. The surface of the wall needs to be super clean so take a cloth dip in water (make sure that the water is warm) and then clean the wall, start from the top and lead towards the end
  4. Cover all the adjacent surfaces using tape,  painter’stape is one of the best products when it comes to protecting the surface
  5. Now the main task is to apply the primer, roll it onto your wall, do not leave bare patches while applying the primer, fill the gaps using a paintbrush, once the primer is dry start painting your wall.
